Vashist Hot Water Springs


Situated across the Beas River at the distance of 4-5 kms from Manali, the village of Vashishth, which is a renowned attraction among pilgrims and tourists, has gained its fame as a home to sulfurous Hot Water Springs also having the availability of the Turkish-style houses to provide the enjoyment of them (springs). The hot water of the springs has several medicinal properties capable to remove various diseases of skins, joint, muscle and bone. The stone temples dedicated to a local saint Vashishtha can also be visited in Vashishth village.

Solang Valley


Located at the altitude of approx 2,560m above sea level and also called the ‘Snow Point’, the Solang Valley, which is popular among its visitors for being the hosting place of several winter adventure sports activities such as Paragliding, skiing, parachuting and so on, is also one of the suitable trekking hotspots in the area. This point provides its visitors the opportunity of taking the magnificent glimpses of glaciers and snow-packed summits of mountains.

Snow Point 

 

Because of not having a fixed location, snow point changes its place as per the army requirements and snowfall. In winters, the road is blocked on the way to Rohtang Pass due to snowfall. Besides being the playing point with snow, the snow point provides its visitors the chance of doing lots such as skiing.
